Saturday 8th November saw this year’s annual dinner dance take place, and what a great night it was. Full of glamour, awards and dancing till the early hours.
The event organised by our Clubhouse Chairman Laura Tuckwood was a superb one – it kicked off with the dignitaries doing their part, followed by a wonderful meal, a few words from the Captain and finished off with the awards for the season and a raffle; with prizes donated from club members and local businesses. We also had a guest appearance from the Mayor of Bewdley who said some kind words during the speeches and presented The Mayor of Bewdley Pot to the winners.
The dance floor was a hive of entertainment, seeing award winner Gareth using his trophy as a microphone, some dosey doeing between all, our Chairman Bob Bayliss joining in at every opportunity and some special dance moves from our outgoing Captain Simon!
It was lovely to see such a good turnout of members, old and new and this year for the first time we had the older juniors attend. This was brilliant for club moral to see a wide range of ages and different groups of people all enjoying themselves together.
